Tony's One Year Plan
My one year plan started this past January when I
started attending graduate school at McDaniel College. I knew after
graduating from Gettysburg College in May 2002 that I wanted to become a high
school biology teacher. McDaniel College has become the school through
which I will receive my Master's and initial teacher certification so that
I may accomplish my goal of becoming a teacher.
I figured out that I can have the program completed
in one year if I once again become a full-time student, therefore I am back
in school until next May. I am currently employed at Olive Garden to help pay the bills
and other necessities while I attend school. A major twist in my one
year plan is the fact that on April 12, 2003 I proposed to my best friend
and greatest inspiration for the past five years Molly Mahaney Clark.
Molly is currently a graduate student at Penn State
University in Higher Education and Student Affairs. She will also be finishing
graduate school in May 2004. So to recap my one year plan...
Two graduates with their Master's, an initial teacher certification, one
wedding, and at least one job offer...hopefully.
