Persuasion with Facts

Assignment

You will use the facts you gathered in the Health Consequences activity to create an effective outline for your argument.

Process
  1. Open the outline template or create one using the "outline numbering" feature, found in the "Format" menu under "Bullets and Numbering."
  2. Arrange your facts in order of importance:  put the least important fact first (next to the letter A), and end with the most important fact.
  3. After each fact, next to the letter 1, give an example of your health effect or provide more details about it.  If you have two details, add a number 2 by using your "enter" and "tab" keys and then selecting the bullets and numbering option again.
  4. Save your work by selecting "Save As" from the "File" menu, renaming your document, and saving it to your folder.
