The Task

Your task is to educate yourself about the 1960 Woolworth sit-ins in Greensboro, North Carolina.  Then, imagine you are a newspaper reporter covering the event. Write a feature article for your paper, telling what it felt like to be there, how the public responded, and what the sit-in meant to the people involved.
