Conclusion

It has been over forty-five years since the sit-ins launched on February 1, 1960 in Greensboro, North Carolina.  Our society has certainly overcome many of the inequalities that existed in 1960, but do you think that we have overcome all of them?  Keep in mind that racial prejudice is just one type of prejudice that effects our society.  As you go about your daily life, think about how your actions and words affect other people.
