Safety on the Web

 

A safety education checklist and student agreement;

 

I, ____________________________________, have read the following list of precautions for Internet use and will try to follow them to the best of my ability.

Failure to do so will result in loss of privilege.

 

  1. I will always listen to the teacher. I will follow the directions given and go to only the sites I have be told to go to when a teacher is present.

 

  1. The school Internet is for educational purposes only. I will not email friends or play unauthorized games. I will not go into chat rooms.

 

  1. I will take care of the equipment, as I should any other school equipment. I am not the only one who would like to use the computers so I must respect the equipment.

 

  1. I will never give out any personal information while using the school computers. If at any time I feel uncomfortable with a situation, I will immediately call a teacher over and discuss it with them.
