It’s Time to Watch Your Weight

As we begin our health unit on childhood obesity, we will explore two very useful internet sites on the web. The sites provided for this activity are filled with information on obesity and can help you make the changes necessary to lead a healthy life. Being obese and being overweight are not exactly the same thing. An obese person has a large amount of extra body fat, not just a few extra pounds. People who are obese are very overweight and at risk for serious health problems. By exploring the following sites you will gain information on not only the causes of obesity, but also how it affects your health, and what you can do to avoid it.
