Lesson Plans

PE CentralP.E. Central is in my opinion the best website available for physical education teachers. The website provides lesson plans for all grade levels, as well as a variety of different activities for all units. The website is very easy to navigate and full of accurate and useful information. PE Lesson Plan PageThis is a great page if you are looking for a variety of different activities. The page does not give you in depth lesson plans for units, but it does give you a variety of games that incorporate the four aspects of physical fitness. The page also has cooperative games, which are good for social skills, communication, and team work. Date Visited: 11/2/05

Lesson Planz.com – This is a great website for the physical educator. The website provides you with lesson plans on games, motor skills, skill related fitness, gymnastics, outdoor education and team sports. The lesson plans on this page have been submitted by other certified teachers and all of the information appears to be accurate. If you teach physical education I recommend checking out this website. Sports MediaThis site offers a wide variety of lesson plans, but you cannot access a lot of them without subscribing to the site. There are some lesson plans available for free, but the amount is very limited. The website appears to be very useful and the lessons that are available for free are nice, but I do not plan to subscribe to this page. Date Visited: 11/2/05

Physical Education Lesson PlansThis website pretty good for physical educators. The site does have some useful information but the amount of information available is limited. There are plenty of sites out there that are much better then this one, but it may have the information you are looking for. Date Visited: 11/2/05
