Elective #9 Safety
HOME AND SCHOOL USE OF THE INTERNET
- The internet is lots of
fun to explore, but we need to observe a few rules to stay safe!
- Never, ever,
give your password to anyone, especially someone you don’t know!
We are all excited when we receive e-mail, but if it is not from someone
you know, just hit delete!
- If someone you met on the
internet wants to meet you in person – let your parents or teacher know
immediately. Never, ever meet
someone you don’t know!
- The Internet is a resource, don’t abuse it by copying other people’s
work. Be original! We want to know what you think!
- Find something bad? It’s ok, just let your parents or
teacher know. Don’t go further into
the site – just stop and someone know!
- Use the computer resources
and sources your teacher suggests.
If you can’t find something with his/her help, then ask!
I agree that these are good points to help keep me safe on the internet. I promise to follow these rules. If I do not, I may have my internet priveledge taken away.
