Five Instructional Situations In Which Translation would be a useful tool

1.        Many students are bi-lingual in today’s classroom.  Some students may just be learning English.  The English language is tough to learn.  A translating service through the web would be helpful to transcribe and interpret a difficult text for a student in this situation.  If they see it in their own language, it may make it easier to understand.

2.        Many students may be bi-lingual, but their parents may not.  If a translator was not available, you could type your text into the site and the parent could read your response and they could share their thoughts in their language.

3.        This would be a great project for students in a social studies class – students could pick a newspaper in another language, find something that looks interesting, and translate it.

4.        When researching websites, I have come across art sites that are in another language, often German.  The translator service would be very useful.

5.        Perhaps you are researching an artist for a class and want to provide students detailed information.  Perhaps this artist was from France and published literary work along with their artwork.  This site would allow us to translate the information to get a better understanding of the text.

Russian text to English translation

This is text from a Russian paper.  The website that I accessed was http://www.aif.ru/online/moskva/590/24_01

WOMEN-FILM DIRECTORS meet infrequently. And Alla СУРИКОВА still besides the director successful, "spectator", whose pictures искренни, are human, and « the Person from parkway Kaputsinov » and at all film cult. Since November, 15 in hire its new picture « About love in any weather » leaves. — IF it was possible to invent new genres, I would name almost all films not comedies, and ирониями. "Comedy" — a word promising and to disappoint it would not be desirable: at each spectator the sense of humour. Has removed a sentimental comedy « Children of Monday », patriotic — « I Want in prison », and new has an epithet "sad". And still would tell — «метеозависимая», as the majority of us. The history modern, is written by Alexey Timmom couple of years back, but for this time in our life a little that has changed. For a public layer which always « falls oil downwards », — for intelligency — the life and has remained such … округлой, nonformalized, not taken place. The unprotected life for the intelligent person of an average in the past д

Michelangelo, «MY kuhl AN juh LOH or MIHK uhl AN juh LOH» (1475-1564), was one of the most famous artists in history. He was mainly interested in creating large marble statues, but his endless creative energy also led him to become a great painter and architect as well as a poet. He was also one of the most famous people of his time and a great leader of the Italian Renaissance, a period marked by a rebirth of interest in the art and learning of ancient Greece and Rome.
