What is your favorite
movement?
Introduction:
We have studied several different art movements. At this point, you probably favor one
movement over another.
Do you like the hip hop pop art movement with the likes of Andy Warhol? Or do you prefer the French vision of the Impressionists?
Assignment:
Choose two movements and compare them. Use the information we discussed in class as well as any you find on the web.
How are they different? How are they similar? Consider where the movement originated, what medium the artists used,
what inspired them, and how their movement affected the world. Which movement do you like best? Least? Why?
