Internet Course Module
- This page contains a WebQuest evaluation activity.  This Module was created so students gain a better understanding of the importance of using technology enhanced learning strategies in the classroom.  Also, students will be able to determine what a quality WebQuest includes after this course is complete.

The Women's Suffrage Movement: WebQuest - This WebQuest requires students to research the Women's Suffrage Movement.  They will learn information on where, when, and why the movement began, and what people were involvedin the movement.  They will also find out what strategies were used by women to gain suffrage, obstacles that women faced during this time, and how women finally obtained the right to vote.

Article Critique #1 - This critique is based on an article concerning the importance of technology and the use of Webquests in the classroom.  The article, "Reading, Technology, and Inquiry-based Learning Through Literature-Rich Webquests," also explains how to locate and create Webquests!

2 - Immigrating to America - This activity allows students to research European immigration to America during the 19th Century.     The will discover what groups came to America and why these immigrants journeyed to America.

3 - Maryland State Facts - Students will visit web sites containing information and fun facts about the state of Maryland.  They         will also be viewing data, such as population and area of the state, and comparing it with U.S. and Carrol County data.

4 -Amish Culture - This activity will introduce the Amish culture to students.  Students will learn about Amish values, beliefs,         norms, and language throught this activity.
