Welcome to my web
index page! As a future art teacher, my
site is primarily focused on art education, however, my research could be
useful to anyone in any field. I have compiled
my work from my Telecommunications and the Internet course for others to share
and use as it is helpful.
General Instructional Activities
Web Link Bibliography – my Web link
Bibliography Page has 20 different sites teachers or students can visit to find
information on one of the most important movements in history, the
Renaissance. This page can be helpful in
finding information on Renaissance artists, doing research on the movement, or
compiling a web start/web quest page
http://www2.mcdaniel.edu/slm/student/dantinnel/weblinkbibliography.htm
Web Quest – my web quest is an
activity exploring roman civilization and the use of realistic historical fiction
films. In the quest, students must work
in groups and individually to judge whether the movie Gladiator is accurate
http://www2.mcdaniel.edu/slm/student/dantinnel/webquest.htm
Art Web Quests – this is a page of great
web quests for art teachers to present to students
http://www2.mcdaniel.edu/slm/student/dantinnel/artwebquest.htm

of the many search engines available for online use. I selected my choices in the categories: Best
Overall Search Engines, Best Art History Research Search Engines, Best Art
Lesson Search Engines, and Best Pictures/Images Search Engine. This page can help art educators use the
proper search engine for their task
http://www2.mcdaniel.edu/slm/student/dantinnel/searchengines.htm
Internet Course Module – students are often
frustrated because they cannot enhance their projects because they do not know
how to find images. This is the first
part of an Image Finding lesson that teaches students how to find images on the
web

Copyright – this web page consists of two scenarios
and responses about copyright
