This site is sponsored by the Girl Scouts of America and is very kid-friendly. There are reading or literature activities for early, middle, advanced, and young adult readers. The activities can be geared to boys and girls and include a place where visitors can share their favorite pieces of literature and gives children a chance to look at news with adults.

Carol Hurst’s Children’s Literature Site

As a librarian, at the University of Calgary, the creator of this site is encouraged that those who visit the site will become excited about books and be more motivated to read. The information is mainly for adults but children could also access the information and use it to their advantage.

Fairrosa Cyber Library of Children’s Literature: Book Lists
This site provides a list of different links that are broken down into Thematic Lists, Special Interests, Links to Other Book Lists Collections and Recommended Books and Awards.
