The
Online World of Clipart

Five
of my favorite clipart sites
This site has tons of categories to choose
from and has thousands of different clipart images. This would be a good site
to use if you were creating a project or a webpage that had a particular theme.
Great for both students and teachers for use in and outside
of the classroom.
http://www.1clipart.com/index.cfm
This site has numerous colorful images that
you can download and use for projects, papers, websites, or journals. It also
has an option to edit the image before downloading it. This would be good if
you needed a larger image or you wanted to change the colors.
http://office.microsoft.com/clipart/default.aspx?cag=1
This site is very expansive and unless you
are looking for something in particular you could easily get lost in this world
of clipart not that that is a bad thing. This site has clipart, backgrounds,
animated clipart, and photographs. It also gives you the option to search for
clipart within the site under specific categories.
http://www.awesomeclipartforkids.com/
This site is kid and family friendly with
clipart, backgrounds, fonts, worksheets, and coloring pages to choose from. A great site for kids to find fun and colorful additions to any school
project.
http://www.school.discovery.com/clipart/
This site is part of Discovery.com and it
provides a wonderful site full of colorful and animated images. Many of the
images are available in black and white and color. This educational site would
be great for projects for home and school.
