Web Dropin Activities
Activity #1: Students will visit a site on and choose their favorite author or illustrator. Once they have picked their author or illustrator they will visit their website and then complete the worksheet provided after finding out some information from the website.

Activity #2: Students will visit a website and select a category that interests them. After selecting the category they will read a review of a book that interests them and then complete the worksheet provided. For extra credit they can read the book and write a review of their own.

Activity #3: Students will visit a website on flowers and other plant life. After visiting the website the students will answer questions and fill in a chart with the information they learned about flowers and plant life.

Activity #4: This is an introduction the a lesson on whales. Students will be visiting two different sites on whales and then comparing and contrasting the sites by completing the worksheet provided.

Activity #5: Students will learn about the nutritional facts of juice and soda by comparing the two products. After visiting the website provided and finding information on a chosen product the students will come to a conclusion as to which is more nutritional juice or soda.

Elective Activities
