Did you ever wonder how your computer does the amazing things it can do? What parts your computer used, for instance, to bring you to this activity page? Well, In this activity, you will find out! You will be exploring two student-created web pages which will explain how computers function, completing a worksheet with information from each website, and comparing and contrasting the two websites.
These cool websites were created as part of the Thinkquest Internet Challenge. Created in 1995, ThinkQuest programs throughout the world encourage students and teachers to participate by working in teams to learn as they create web-based learning materials and teach others.
