  1. School Clip Art:  This website has ten pages of clipart related to school and teaching, as well as a page with Christmas, Valentine’s day, and smiley face images.  The smiley faces express a lot of different emotions.  Some images are animated.  http://www.datasync.com/~teachers/school_clipart.html  

 

  1. Awesome Clipart for Kids:  This website is designed and maintained by a 13 year old and his family!  There are some nice clipart images, including some original fonts, holiday art and unique school images.  There are backgrounds, icons and also image lines in each theme area (including school).  You can also create crossword puzzles, cryptograms, mazes, and worksheets at this site.  http://www.awesomeclipatforkids.com/

 

  1. Flaming Text:  This website has a large collection of clipart, fonts, and other tools for designing web pages.  It does not have a separate school or educational section, but a lot of  fun images, including blinking neon signs with many different icons.  http://www.flamingtext.com/

School Image Gallery:  This website has 60 pages of school-related images, including some animated clipart and a handy text index.  It is maintained by Hoxie High School students!  The students have created some of these images, and collected others from free websites.  http://www.hoxie.org/clipart/clip00.htm

 

  1. Dream Artists:  This site is not educationally oriented, but does contain a lot of great animations, backgrounds, graphics and neon letters.  http://dreamartists.com/password/indexanimations.html

  1. Classroom Clipart:  Many images are categorized here, for use by students and teachers.  There are photo images here as well as drawn clipart.  Examples of categories include:  animals, history, maps, transportation, science and people. http://classroomclipart.com/

 

  1. Teachnet.com:  The clipart available on this site is rather ordinary.  However, there is a collection of cartoons about teachers called “Teachers’ Pit” which might be useful for in-school communications.
