Virtual Field Trip on Animals

Here is the chance to visit your favorite animals and some animals that you may not be so familiar with. Take your time and visit our animals from Baltimore to Belize. The animals are there for the looking. Remember to be kind to the animals and our environment. Happy safari.

Take a tour among the lions. The people are in the cage(vehicle) while the lions roam free. This is an opportunity for an upclose look into the lion’s natural habitat. You will find over a 1000 animals in 5 to 50 acre reserves. Make sure you keep your hands in the vehicle at all times unless you know the feeding schedule.

The Birmingham Zoo offers an opportunity to visit the Savannah , flamingo lagoon ,and all types of birds. Don’t forget your quarters to buy birdfeed for the birds, dispensers are located near the bird area.

The Baltimore Zoo offers a chance to meet more than 2000 animals form chimpanzees to warthogs. Take a safari through Africa and visit the hands-on adventures in the Children’s Zoo.

The Belize Zoo is on 29 acres of the tropical Savannah with over 125 animals native to Belize. This zoo offers an option to hear the sounds that the animals make and has wonderful pictures of the animals. This zoo started as a backyard exhibit but has grown immensely. Don’t forget to pack a lunch while visiting the wilds of Belize.
