Below is a list of 5 sites that contain fantastic clip art for our educational needs.  None of the sites require a link to the site and they are all 100% completely free!  They may be used for print or for web pages and will make our student's educational adventure much more exciting!

 

Free Clip Art Now

This clip art site is 100% free and contains over 20,000 images.  It is organized in a simple, folder fashion that allows users to search with ease and comfort.  There are several images useful to physical education teachers, as there is an education and recreation folder.  This site is so simple, it is very appropriate for students as well as teachers.  Students never have to guess what they are getting when they open a folder and teachers can be at ease because of that as well.

Public Domain Photos

This site is very simple and free.  Once you scroll down past the ads, there are categories of all sorts to find free clip art.  There is an education section as well as a "recreation, sports" section that all have great pictures.  This site is good for parents and teachers.  Because of the amount of ads, kids should steer clear of this site.

Free Clip Art Pictures

This site organizes their free clip art by category allows the user to brose through hundreds of pictures.  All of the images are free and can be used for web pages or print.  There are several categories pertinent to physical education and health with big, bold images.  This site would be appropriate for teachers as well as kids.  There are a lot of ads, so for younger students, assistance may be required at first.

This site allows the user to access free clip art which is categorized by subject.  There is an education section and users can search for keywords and easily find appropriate pictures.  The site is clear of pop ups, so it is very easy and helpful for teachers and students alike to make presentations more interesting.

Barry's Clip Art

This site has thousands of clipart designs, categorized easily by topic.  Users can use this clip art pictures for free, without posting any kind of royalty link.  Also, the site is very straightforward, so as long as a student can read the topics, it is appropriate for her to use. The site also has the convenience of directly searching for keywords to find specific clip art.
