Course Module-Interest Forums
- In this activity, adults seek out forums within their personal or
professional interests. Reviews are
completed for 6 forums. This activity
could also be modified to suit a younger population of high school students
within a certain subject area.

Drop In #1 - This
activity is titled Get Moving! The
target audience are high school students, but could be easily used for middle
school as well. Students will access the
CDC website and learn about recommended activity levels and how they can be
incorporated in their daily life.

Drop In #2 - This
activity, titled Another Aspect of Healthy Living….Nutrition, is designed for
high school students. Students access
the government food pyramid site and learn about recommended values for
themselves.

Drop In #3 - In this
activity, Calculating Your BMI, high school students take measurements and
calculate their body mass index.
Students also learn healthy ranges for their age group and how to
maintain or get to that specific level.

Drop In #4 - In this
activity, Is Title IX Fair?, students access several sites regarding Title
IX. They are then asked to read articles
and develop their own opinion regarding the Amendment and create paragraphs to
express it. This activity is designed
for high school students.

Drop In #5 - This
activity, Go For the Gold!, has student retrieve medal information from several
sites and create a bar graph with the information that was gathered. Students are also asked to analyze the graph
they created. This activity is designed
for 6-9th grades.

Elective 1-Online Shopping - This page explores the areas of
auctions, surplus and clearance, browsing, wish lists, and gift certificates of
online shopping. Users can use this page
to sample different sites. This page is
designed for adults and high school students.

Elective 2-Clip Art
- This page exhibits 5 different free clip art sites. This page can be utilized
by older elementary school-age students to adults. I found this site helpful through making most
of my assignments.

-This is a PowerPoint presentation about Assistive Technology in the classroom,

Modifications - This is a list comprised of tips for teachers with
students using the internet or web-based learning who have been identified as
