Search Engine - This page provides a ranking of search engines that I reviewed based on specific categories. Web Quest - This page provides a web quest I have created that will lead students through the issues involving invasive species in the United States.  Students will learn what invasive species are and why they should be concerned about them.  In addition, students will also learn what types of controls are currently being used to  help control the spread of invasive species.                                         http://www2.mcdaniel.edu/slm/student/brustk/quest.htm

Wetland Dropin #1- This page provides a lesson I created to use with students to help teach them about the Wetlands.  In this activity, students will visit a web site I have chosen based on its content and they will navigate through this site learning about the importance of Wetlands.  Upon completion, students will answer five questions about what they learned on the web site.                                                                                   http://www2.mcdaniel.edu/slm/student/brustk/wetlndrp1.htm

Grassland Dropin #2- This page provides a lesson I created on the grasslands ecosystems.  In this lesson, students will navigate through a web site I have chosen for them and learn about the grasslands of the world.  They will concentrate on information about the grasslands of the United States and answer five questions based on information presented by the site.                                                                                    http://www2.mcdaniel.edu/slm/student/brustk/graslndrp2.htm

Desert Dropin #3- This page provides a lesson I created to teach students about the desert biome.  In this lesson, students will navigate through the web site I provide them.  They will learn about the unique adaptations the animals and plants that inhabit this biome have.  In addition, students will answer questions, analyze a graph and use information they have obtained during their research to hypothesize what the graph data means.                                                                                                                                             http://www2.mcdaniel.edu/slm/student/brustk/desrtdrp3.htm

Ocean Dropin #4 - This page provides a lesson I created to teach students about Oceans.  In this lesson, students must compare cold and warm water oceans based upon the type of life each supports.  Students will also use multiple web pages to help them design their own ocean environments.  Student will create their own fish that are adapted to live in either a cold or warm water environment.                                                                                        http://www2.mcdaniel.edu/slm/student/brustk/oceandrp4.htm

Cell Cycle Dropin #5 - This page provides a lesson I created to help students learn about the cell cycle.  in this lesson, students will visit several different cites that provide information about the cell cycle and mitosis.  Students will learn about the important role the cell cycle plays in the existence of life.  Students will apply to information from the different sites to create their own graphical representation of the cell cycle as well as to create diagrams of a cell during each phase of mitosis.                                        http://www2.mcdaniel.edu/slm/student/brustk/celldrp5.htm

Biology Lesson Plans - This page provides sites where teachers can go to look at lesson plans on various subjects in biology.  The pages presented are geared mainly to upper middle school (7 & 8) and high school grades. Clip Art - This page provides a listing of five sites I have found that provide good clip art pictures.  Each site is annotated with a description of the type of animations that can be found on the web page.  There are several different types of clip art presented at each site and a wide variety of themes to choose from.  http://www2.mcdaniel.edu/slm/student/brustk/clipart.htm

Radio - This page provides a list of various web sites that provide streaming audio.  The sites a broken down into several different categories, and each site is annotated with a brief description of what it provides.  Each site provides a link so the visitor can listen to live or previous broadcasts.  http://www2.mcdaniel.edu/slm/student/brustk/radio.htm

Spam - This page provides visitors with information about spam.  The page provides a definition of what spam is and the problems that junk mail/spam cause for everyone.  This page also gives several suggestions on how to protect yourself from spam and provides access to view the most current legislation dealing with spam and spammers.                                                                                    http://www2.mcdaniel.edu/slm/student/brustk/spam.htm

Evaluating Web Sites - This page provides visitors with access to criteria I have established to help determine if a web page is a good source of information.  Visitors can print out the check list and use it to help evaluate sites they are looking at for validity.  There is also an example of a good and bad site provided with the check list filled out so a person can see how my evaluation criteria can be used.                                               http://www2.mcdaniel.edu/slm/student/brustk/evaluate.htm
