Web
Quest - This page provides a web quest I have created that will lead students

Module- This page provides a module I created to guide students through
the creation of a web page using Frontpage. Students will search the Internet
to find information that will help them create their pages. In addition,
students will familiarize themselves with the web page creating program Frontpage
and use that program to create their own page.

Wetland
Dropin #1- This page provides a lesson I created to use with students to
help teach them about the Wetlands. In this activity, students will visit
a web site I have chosen based on its content and they will navigate through
this site learning about the importance of Wetlands. Upon completion,

Grassland
Dropin #2- This page provides a lesson I created on the grasslands ecosystems.
In this lesson, students will navigate through a web site I have chosen for
them and learn about the grasslands of the world. They will concentrate

Desert
Dropin #3- This page provides a lesson I created to teach students about
the desert biome. In this lesson, students will navigate through the web
site I provide them. They will learn about the unique adaptations the
animals and plants that inhabit this biome have. In addition, students
will answer questions, analyze a graph and use information they have obtained
during their research to hypothesize what the graph data means.

Ocean
Dropin #4 - This page provides a lesson I created to teach students about
Oceans. In this lesson, students must compare cold and warm water oceans
based upon the type of life each supports. Students will also use multiple
web pages to help them design their own ocean environments. Student will

Cycle Dropin #5 - This page provides a lesson I created to help students
learn about the cell cycle. in this lesson, students will visit several
different cites that provide information about the cell cycle and mitosis.
Students will learn about the important role the cell cycle plays in the existence

Lesson Plans - This page provides sites where teachers can go to look at
lesson plans on various subjects in biology. The pages presented are geared
mainly to upper middle school (7 & 8) and high school grades. Each site

page (the one directly linked here) I added Java script that allowed me to display
the day's date and a message I created for that date. On this same page
is a link to my next Java page. On this second page, I added script that
allowed me to have a drop down menu on my page. Linked to this menu are
several assignment I previously completed for my SLM class. http://www2.mcdaniel.edu/slm/student/brustk/java1.htm

with the check list filled out so a person can see how my evaluation criteria
can be used.
