Is having technology in the classroom a good or a bad idea? While much of the current technology focuses on how it can be used to support student achievement at school, some critics say computers often do more harm than good.

Assistive technology helps students succeed in school and socially. For schools the goal has always been to bring students with physical and learning disabilities into the regular classroom.
