Newsletters

After exploring several sites on the Internet that reflected my interest I subscribed on May 19, 2005 to:

The reason that I subscribed to Education World was because of three reasons. First, the actual website was on my best pick list when I explored search engines. The newsletter provides cross curriculum lesson plans, worksheets, projects, for all subjects and levels of education.  Secondly, the site has nine different types of newsletters one can subscribe to such as teacher lesson plans, job opportunities, or education news articles.  Lastly, each sample of newsletters that I read covered a wide variety of topics so they will please any professional educator.

I also subscribed to Discovery Channel newsletter. My reasons for picking this newsletter were both for personal interest as well as for an aid to my teaching career. This site also had a variety of newsletters to subscribe to. I actually picked two of Discovery Channel. The first one provides upcoming Discovery Channel television show times and the other one provides shows that can be taped and used in the classroom.
