Today the fourth grade class will visit Colonial Williamsburg located in the state of Virginia. This visual field trip will enhance our lessons on colonial life.

Examples: Clothing, Food, Historic Buildings

This electronic field trip is sponsored by Project VIEW, a Federal Technology Innovative Challenge Grant. The VIEW develops relationships with museums, zoos, and libraries to create the field trips. The front page of the site provides an index of a variety other links provided VIEW. The field trip above explains the construction of planes, rockets, and shuttle and how they each fly. Along with the link are twelve lessons provided by the Smithsonian Institute. They also provide the New York state educational standards for each field trip.
