Are you tired of trying to locate just the right worksheet, puzzle
or quiz for your students? Well you’ve come to the right place. I’ve searched the net and found ten of the
best websites specifically for the teacher of primary students.

Mathematics
1. The Math Worksheets
This
website creates the worksheets according to the needs of your students. This site does have an area that is available
only by subscription. There are 120 additional types of worksheets in PDF
format. The subscription price is very reasonable for one teacher, classroom or
family use. This site is great for drill work and center practice.

2. A+ Math
I
really like this site because it offers the teacher a choice of whether the
worksheet will be on paper or online.
The answers are also given right away which is good for immediate
feedback for the student. The site isn’t all that appealing to the eye but the
amount of worksheets makes up for this flaw in design.

3. Dositey.com
This website offers interactive lessons, games and
worksheets that focus on addition, subtraction, beginning multiplication and
measurement. http://www.dositey.com/mathk2.htm
4. Kid
Zone
This
site offers worksheets that focus on counting, addition, subtraction, and odd
or even problems for K-5th grade.

Reading/Language Arts
This
site is packed with worksheets specifically for reading comprehension. There
are book report forms, graphic organizers, and tests. Great one stop shopping
for the busy teacher!

This
website features coloring worksheets, alphabet worksheets, mini books with
stories to color.
http://www.beginningreading.com/Free%20Workshe.htm
This
site has worksheets that would be a huge help to the teacher desiring
reinforcement in grammar, vocabulary, rhyming, reading comprehension,
alphabetizing, and parts of speech. The
worksheets are appealing and easy to read.

Puzzles/Instructional Activities
This
site has great online jigsaw puzzles. The puzzles range in size from 6 to 40
pieces. There are nature, animal, candy,
people, ocean life, and bug puzzles. Very colorful and bound to provide quite a
bit of fun for the primary student.

9. Scholastic
Scholastic
offers a very well put together interactive site that makes reinforcing math,
science, reading, vocabulary, writing, and social studies exciting. The site
offers online activities for grades PreK-12. This is a good site for the child
that needs to be read to. http://teacher.scholastic.com/activities/index_grades12.htm

General Worksheets
This
website is a nice collection of worksheets for the PreK-3 teacher. There are
worksheets for shape recognition, letter
recognition, addition, number recognition, counting, and mazes. I will
definitely put this site in my favorites if I need a worksheet quickly.
