All Roads Lead to Rome by Susan Medina

Students research Roman culture and customs.  Using web resources students write a reserch paper that includes graphics of ancient Rome.

Searching for Mesopotamia by John Weinshel
Students learn about where the ancient Sumerians settled and how their environment affected their development.
Students particapate in a group to produce a report for an archeological museum which reveals 4 different aspects of Sumerian life.

What Makes a City Thrive?  by Kathy Benson
Students examine how geographic features and other factors influence the development of cities and settlements.
As the vice presidents of a housing community, students must investigate various sites to determine if they would be good sites to build homes.

Current Events  by Jeffrey Scott Bell

Sumeria/Ancient Civilizations  by Karen Ness

Cultural Center World Religion Symposium
Students produce a multi media presentation and oral report on one of the major world religions.  Students gather information from web articles about the various religions.
