Students explore and produce an artificat on different
aspects of life during the Roman Empire by taking a virtual field trip.

Students learn about where the ancient Sumerians settled
and how their environment affected their development.
Students particapate in a group to produce a report for

Makes a City Thrive? by Kathy Benson
Students examine how geographic features and other factors
influence the development of cities and settlements.
As the vice presidents of a housing community, students
must investigate various sites to determine if they would be good sites
to build homes.
