Dropin 1: Civil War Battles – This activity gives students an opportunity to get a feel for the mass numbers of casualties in both the North and South, compare them, and develop their reasoning skills.

Dropin 2: Passover Customs – Students use the URLs provided to explore their heritage further and briefly describe what they have learned.

Dropin 3: Women in the Civil War – Often left forgotten and unknown, this activity provides for students’ discovery of the realities of the lives of several women living through the Civil War.  A website that leads to primary sources gives students a true feeling of their existence. Their understanding of the information is displayed on a convenient chart.

Dropin 4: The Great Slavery Debate - This dropin gives students a chance to read about the different views regarding the issue of slavery during the Civil War.  They are required to come with an understanding of both sides, and be prepared to debate in class.

Dropin 5: Tracing Passover Customs: - Students have already found customs and traditions which are new to them, and in this dropin, they are required to use the listed websites to trace them back to where they originated.
