Instructional websites created by teachers.
http://www.glenbrook.k12.il.us/gbssci/phys/Class/BBoard.html- Science class web site from Illinois.
~Commendations~
ü There are a lot of lessons and activities.
ü Titles for each lesson with a description. With the description, it easier to find what I am looking for and not have to look at each lesson.
ü This site has a side bar that gives information as resources and school calendar. I like the side bar because if you want to find something else you can and it is not thrown in with the lesson main page.
~Recommendations~
ü There are not any graphics but just links and words. It would be more appealing with graphics.
ü An introduction would be very helpful. I wasn’t sure at first if this was a classroom page or a commercial site. An introduction with what it is and where it is from would be great.
ü There is a section to e-mail with a list of people. It would be helpful if I knew if I was e-mailing a student or a teacher. Adding a brief description would be helpful.
http://members.tripod.com/dscorpio/- Language Arts website WELL created by Ms. Blanchard for her students.
~Commendations~
ü WELL DEVELOPED!!!!!! It offers so many different aspects for her students!
ü Site has graphics, music and great links.
ü INTRODUCTION!!! She provided an introduction stating the purpose of the page.
~Recommendations~
ü This is difficult because the page is well developed.
ü The music is very bold. It sounds as if I am in a scary house.
ü On most links there is music so it takes forever to load. There is overkill on the music.
ü Before getting into the “meat” of the page, she should have the link to herself under home.
