Electives:

Lesson Planning:  This is a list of links to websites that offer lesson plans to the physical education teacher. 

 

Spam Elective:  This is a brief overview of what spam is, the problems associated with spam, and some ways that computer users can fight spam. 

 

Copyright:  This is an explanation of some copyright laws dealing with different scenarios concerning the use of technology in the classroom.

 

Teacher Sites:  This is an evaluation offering some commendations and recommendations of two physical education teacher made websites.

 

Silicon Snake:  This is a brief review and comment on some of the statements made by Clifford Stoll in his book about technology and the internet. 

 

Online Games:  This is a description of my brief experience with the world of online gaming. 

 

Citing Internet Sources:  This elective was a description of what website I would choose to send students to for learning about how to cite an electronic resource.  There are also some examples of how I would cite a resource from the internet.

 

Clipart:  This is an annotated list in which I list and give brief descriptions of some website that offer clipart.  There are also listed some sites that have large selections of physical education and sports clipart.

 

Viruses:  This elective gives a brief overview of viruses, a list of tips to avoid viruses, and a form letter that can be used when someone sends you a hoax about a virus. 

 

Filtering:  This elective explains what filters are, how they work, and some pros and cons to using filtering software.

 

Search Engines:  This elective explores and provides a list of different search engines that can be used in your search for the perfect website.
