Up to Ten
- This site offers a tremendous variety of activities for children
including animated storybooks, songs, games, animated cards, and coloring. It includes some unusual and memorable characters
and the set up and appearance of the site is similar to that of a CD game which
many children would find appealing. It
also has the option to use other languages, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, English
and French, great to satisfy a multicultural need. The site is easy to navigate and fun. Last visited July 2002. http://www.uptoten.com/
Education
Place – Kids Place – This
site has games
and activities for math, reading, language arts, social studies, and science. The

Mad Libs, fill-in the requested parts of speech and
submit to create your story (recommended grades 3 an up). The English section has authors /
illustrators, grammar blast, best net research, graphic organizers and
more. It also has a Reading Scene
section which highlights one book per grade range and questions to ponder,
