Rhyming Words
Introduction:
Rhyming
words sound the same. They are usually
are spelled almost the same with only
some of the letter different. Understanding
and finding rhyming words in a story will help us become better readers.
Nursery
rhymes are short poems / stories which have been around for a very long
time. These are rhymes that even your
grandmother would know; they are NOT just for babies!! AND …. They are great places to find rhyming
words.
In this
activity, we will use the internet to look at classic nursery rhymes, read (and
listen to the music) and create some fun to share with the class.
