Digital Drop-Ins

 

Dropin #1 – This dropin requires students to visit a web site on seed dispersal. They will use the information presented on the website to answer questions about the topic.

Dropin #2 – This dropin requires students to visit Eric Carle’s web site in order to learn more about him. This activity would be used as an introduction to an author study on Eric Carle.

Dropin #3 – This dropin requires students to visit a web site which posts results of a children’s survey on favorite sports to participate in. The students will use the statistics and graphs on the web page to compare to our own class survey data.

Dropin #4 – This dropin requires students to visit three websites about Kevin Henkes in order to gain background knowledge of this author before beginning our author study unit on him.

Dropin #5 – This dropin presents students with a project directly relating to a fairy tale unit. This project provides students with the opportunity to write their own fairy tales. A plan sheet is provided.
