Native American Picture Comparison

Since we have been studying Native Americans and comparing text and picture features, it is time to compare a map of Maryland from 1671 with where we live today.

First, go to this page:

and take a look at this map. Notice all the features. Then, view this site:

Now that you have seen both maps, create a Venn Diagram in your social studies journal highlighting the similarities and differences you’ve found. When you are finished, please write a 6-8 sentence paragraph explaining the differences. Be sure to use correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar!
