· As an introduction to our structures unit, you will be exploring the four main types of bridge structures. Your task is to explore the following website.

· As you explore the website, you will survey four bridge sites, discover different types of bridges and their strengths and weaknesses, and play a game to test your knowledge of bridge structures.

Journal Response

1) Name the four different types of bridges from the internet activity.

2) Using what you learned about bridges, explain why you chose each type of bridge for the 4 sites listed. Use your knowledge of each structure’s strengths and weaknesses to explain your choice. Be specific.
