History

History Channel--This site has a myriad collection of video clips (dating all the way back to Thomas Edison and WWI!) on several topics, each of which is no more than two minutes or so, but present outstanding video and audio speeches on a number of historical topics. Date visited--10/26/03.

Celebrity Interviews

Oprah.com--Since I don't often get the chance to watch the show, and since many of her topics don't interest me anymore, when someone is on the show that I would like to watch, she has video clips from their interviews after the show has aired.  Date visited--10/26/03.

Sister2Sister Magazine--Jamie Foster Brown's black celebrity magazine with the juice on just about everyone (mostly from the music industry) and interviews that are never edited (even the stars' spoken grammar mistakes are included!). But what the site provides that the magazine doesn't are video clips of the various stories and events they cover. Date visited--10/26/03. http://www.s2smagazine.com/

Music Videos

Yahoo Music Videos--Since I don' t have cable, nor time to watch videos on television when they are scheduled to air, the best thing for me to do is catch them on the internet. Yahoo is one of the best places for that. Date visited--10/26/03. http://launch.yahoo.com/musicvideos/

Fantasy

Star Wars--Been a fan since '79 when the original film was re-released in theatres just before
Empire Strikes Back was released. The official site contains streamed video for documentaries concerning the more recent films, and they tend to air exclusive videos when recent products are released, at this time pertaining to the next film Episode III (including a live web cam of the filming process), and the new Clone Wars cartoon series (debuting on the internet just twenty minutes after it debuts on television). Date visited--10/26/03. http://www.starwars.com/

Lord of the Rings--The official site dedicated to the films that surround the book series envisioned by J.R.R. Tolkien. The site contains trailers and exclusive documentaries on the filming and story process as each film gears up to debut. Modeled very similarly after what Star Wars offers.
