Create a Virtual Tour using PowerPoint

Participants will:
* create a 'virtual tour' for use in a lesson which incorporates multimedia elements which have been legally obtained and appropriately cited.
  1. View Virtual Tour example in the previous layer of this module.
  2. Participate in Discussion Board, "What are the multimedia elements of an effective online virtual tour? How can these elements foster a greater understanding of a place?"

Right click on the link, select "Save Target As", and choose a location for the downloaded document. You are to correctly cite each multimedia element within the PowerPoint using appropriate style. URLs to the original websites are provided. Email the corrected document to your instructor.
  7. Complete Module 4 Assessment which asks you to create a virtual tour to a location of your choice.
  8. Alternative Activity: (for the teacher short on time) Use a prepared template for your virtual tour. Follow the guidelines as described in: "How to Make a Virtual Tour Using PowerPoint".
