Reading
for Information Using the Internet is geared towards teachers who need
to provide some reading strategies when using the Internet for their elementary
students. The linked worksheet can be used with any reliable website that
provides information. |
Party
Planning on a Budget is a math/consumer awareness activity for
grades 3-5 where students are given a spending limit and 'shop' online
for items. Students must make wise choices about the products they 'purchase'
in order not to overspend. Teachers may elect to have younger students
use the online shopping cart, or students may complete a table and calculate
the cost of the food themselves. |
