McDaniel College's Phi Alpha Honor Society is composed of students that are committed to humanitarian ideals, who embrace social work ethics, and display scholarly excellence and distinctive achievement within the social work curriculum. It is a medium through which continuing research is encouraged, emerging professional social workers are recognized, and social work services in the community, state, nation, and world are addressed through action oriented interventions.
