Australia is known for its diverse landscape which is home to the most unique animals that can only be found in Australia. We will take a look into the history of Australia and learn more about the environment and what makes Australia one of the most desired countries in the world.

We will start our journey with a look into the beginnings of this country and continent. Beginning with the Aborigines this land’s beginning is as unique as its animals. With ancient Aboriginal history and dreaming stories, Australia’s history is one of conflict and trial.

You can search out your favorite Australian animal and learn all the facts you need to know about them. Pick an animal you’ve never heard of and read about it. Where does it live? What does it eat? You can find other links so you can learn more about each specific animal.

Great Barrier Reef

The Great Barrier Reef is one of the most amazing sights on the planet. Students will learn all about the reef. Learn about the lifespan of the reef, the marine life in the reef, and how to protect the reef. Students will look at the variety of corral that lives in the reef.

Australia’s Outback

Students will learn about the Australian Outback and its diverse climate. They will learn about who lives in the outback and what Ayers’s Rock is. They will look at maps to see just how big the country of Australia is.
