Making Math Count

INTRODUCTION

The subject of math requires a person to practice, practice, and practice! This is a skill that builds on itself; that means a good math student will master the basics of beginning math and continues to move ahead in learning more complex skills. Math is used in out everyday lives. We need to have good basic math skills to be successful in out working careers.

Math doesn’t always come easy to all of us. Working with numbers can be confusing and frustrating. There is help for us who struggle

in math on all levels.

ACTIVITY

You will review two web sites to determine for yourself which site provides you with the most help. Choose the site that you would use when needing help.

Write a paragraph about the math site you think is best for you and give five reasons why including text support and examples for each reason. Turn your paper in to your teacher.
