          With so many resources available on the web, it’s a wonder why teachers spend so much time creating worksheets and assessments from scratch. In truth, many teachers do this so the worksheet meets the specific needs of their students and the information being taught. However, these online tools may help teachers save time in many subject areas. Explore the links and decide for yourself.

 

  Language Arts:

 

School Express: Language Arts – Great instructional worksheets available for most grade 4 language arts objectives. Choose from a variety of worksheets for each part of speech. Worksheets are provided in list form and users should preview each document to assess which sheet would work best with the specific exercise.

Free Printable English Worksheets – There are a number of great language arts worksheets for meeting grade 4 curriculum objectives on this site. Information is presented in list form and material is appropriate for grades K-5 concepts. Specifically, the practice activities with capitalization, punctuation, and parts of speech are great for meeting the grade 4 objectives.

The Green Frog News – This site has pdf links for K-5 science concept activities. Search by concepts listed in alphabetical order ranging from chemistry topics to life sciences, earth sciences, and physics. The activities are high quality and include illustrations, well-written directions, and examples where needed.
