On this field trip you’ll investigate the facts behind the first Thanksgiving and dispel some of the well-known myths of this well-known historic event. Meet ancestors of the Wampanoag tribe and English colonists. As they tell you the history of their family, you decide where the truth lies.

On this trip you’ll travel to the rugged uplands of eastern West Virginia to discover the lives of people living on a farmstead over 150 years ago. You’ll get to work side-by-side with archaeologists as they discover the rich history buried in the earth.
