Discovering Ecosystems

 

The final unit in the 4th grade science curriculum is called “The World Around You”. In this unit you will be learning about organisms, the food web, and life in an ecosystem.

 

With a partner, explore the Missouri Botanical Gardens website and answer the following questions listed below in your science journal. These steps will help guide your exploration:

 

Step 1: Choose an ecosystem from the following list:

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2: Go to the Missouri Botanical Gardens website (http://www.mbgnet.net/). Click on the image matching the ecosystem you and your partner are researching.

 

Step 3: Use the links on the left hand side of your computer screen to answer the questions below in your science journal.
