Plains Indian or Southwest Indian?
Native Americans live/lived all over the United States. In this activity you are going to read about Indians from two different regions, the Plains and the Southwest. You will be comparing the lifestyles of these Indians to decide which group you would like to belong to if you were given the opportunity.
1. Learn about the Plains and Southwest Indians by exploring the two sites below.

Print out the Venn Diagram from this link and complete.
3. After reading about these two groups of Indians and comparing them, which group would you like to belong to if you had the opportunity? Write a paragraph explaining which group you chose and why. Make sure that you include information about their homes, food, clothing, and any other facts that led you to pick this group of Native Americans.
4. Turn your Venn Diagram and paragraph into Mrs. Vilella when you are complete.
