This is a source of free clipart for educators. It has a short list of categories to choose from, but is very education oriented. There are specific categories for teachers, students, and various subjects such as Language Arts, Math, and Science.

School Clip Art- http://www.school-clip-art.com/

This is a fairly long list of categories of free clipart. The results within the categories are limited and mostly cartoonish, but there are some realistic pictures as well. Browsing for appropriate pictures is aided by the long list of subjects but limited pictures to a page rather than clicking through numerous pages of graphics.

Teacher Files- http://www.teacherfiles.com/clip_art.htm

This site contains free clipart for class subjects as well as general education oriented clipart. This site also contains borders and headers for classes and possible website titles such as “Classroom News.”

Clipart Connection- http://www.clipartconnection.com/

This site features a search bar that allows the user to search for images rather than hunt through a list of available categories. Another unique aspect of this site is that each image appears with its file size and dimensions so that they can be planned for and used properly.

Clip Art Guide- http://www.clipartguide.com/

This site contains links to numerous subscription clipart sites. While it may not be entirely practical for teachers to subscribe to numerous sites for clipart, they do offer thousands more results than the free sites seem to. This site links to some unique clipart of retro images, cartoons with captions, and celebrity caricatures.
