Process Part 6 - The United States Space Program has had almost 50 years in space. Have the individual student look up some facts on space exploration history and answer the questions below.

1. Look up some interesting facts on who entered outer space first and when did the US first go into outer space?

2. What types of robots have been on Mars before?

3. List the ones that explored Mars in summer of 1997.

4. What are the names of the two active robots on Mars today that landed in January 2004?
