VOLCANOES!       

 

Have you ever wondered what a real volcano looked like?  Did you know that there are many volcanoes right here in the United States?  Hawaii has more than 20 volcanoes just on its seven major islands alone!  So, grab your hard hat and let’s go on an adventure to see some active volcanoes!

 

WHAT IS A VOLCANO?

 

Our first stop will be a web site that tells us a bit about volcanoes, and has some photographs and video clips of volcanoes and volcanic eruptions.  Click on the link below to see some really cool photographs of Kilauea, a Hawaiian volcano.
