About our Media Center

Mission
To provide an atmosphere where students and staff feel welcome to read and learn using our resources to become effective users of ideas and information.

Vision
 Our Media Center will be a place of learning that will house a diverse collection of print and non print materials to fulfill specific needs of all students and staff.

 Students and staff will feel safe and welcome to choose their own materials and to select and return books daily from a quality collection, acquired and managed by the Media Specialist.

 The Media Center will be the hub of learning at the school offering time for classes, groups and/or individuals to expand their knowledge through reading.

 Collaboration between the Media Specialist, teachers and administrators will help facilitate learning for all and assist students in appreciating literature.

 Students and staff will be exposed to a range of sources and formats of information and information technologies, enabling them to solve problems and locate answers to fulfill their curiosities.
