Evaluating Search Engines

Research is something that you will do throughout your life.  The Internet can be helpful in completing research.  Try using the three search engines below to find the answers to these questions:

-         Where are tarantulas found?

-         Who are some of the most famous surfers?

-         Who ordered Lewis and Clark to begin their expedition to map the west?

-         Where did President, Theodore Roosevelt grow up?

I am not concerned with the answers of the questions, but how easy it was for you to use the search engines to find them.  As you are searching, evaluate the website by giving each question a rating of 1-5 based on how easy it was to use the search engine to find what you are looking for.  A sheet with the table below will be provided by your teacher. A rating of 1 is the lowest rating and a rating of 5 means it is superior.
