Web Drop-In #2

Our body is made up of many body systems. We will begin our unit of study with the skeletal
system. Skeletons aren’t just creepy
things you hear about on Halloween. Use
the website http://yucky.kids.discovery.com/flash/body/pg000124.html
to help you answer the following questions and learn more about our skeletal
systems. You will need to record your
answers on tablet paper with a correct heading. Papers will be collected.
1. How many more bones does a person have when he or she is first born, than an adult has?
2. How do joints help us move?
3. Why is it important that bones are alive?
4. How do muscles help your bones move?
5. Pretend that you are a person without a skeletal system. Describe your frustrations in getting around. Invent a new way to move around. This should be at least 5 sentences or more.
